# Forecast map geography

U.S. Census Bureau TIGERweb; 120th congressional districts with Missouri replaced by unchanged 119th districts.

Census October 7 note says 120th Missouri geometries still contain the superseded plan; use the 2022/2024 plan from the 119th layer.

These display geometries join one-to-one to all 435 modeled districts. All 50 states are retained; Senate states without a 2026 contest remain neutral gray. Alaska and the main Hawaiian Islands are insets with separate scale. Remote Northwestern Hawaiian Islands are omitted from the display and retained in raw geography. Geometry simplification is for display only. No polling or electoral estimates are changed by the map.

For display, the 2026 district lines are clipped to the Census 2024 cartographic land mask. The mask shapes the coastlines, not the election districts. Michigan’s Upper and Lower Peninsulas remain separate and the Great Lakes are not filled.
